New York condemned Bad Bunny for Jose Alvarado

The New York Knicks facing the sounds of Bad Bunny in front Super Bowl. But to officially meet in the newly added Jose Alvarado after his arrival via the New Orleans Pelicans.

Alvarado immediately impressed the Knicks, dropping 12 points in just 25 minutes in a 111-89 rout of the Boston Celtics. His new teammate Josh Hart was the one who immediately embraced him.

The now former Pelican even chose a new jersey number before his debut — one that ties into his “Grand Theft Alvarado” moniker. It is now known as “GTA 5” on the floor.

Alvarado became a force on defense – grabbing two steals and blocking a shot. He even turned this steal from Jaylen Brown into two points.

But the reason they’re knee-jerk about the Grammy-winning artist before halftime of the Super Bowl on Sunday? Alvarado is a native of Puerto Rico, just like the famous musician. Alvarado also plays for the Puerto Rico national team.

Head Coach Mike Brown immediately attended the strike by Alvarado on the floor.

“He gives us a different look because he’s so quick with the ball,” Brown said, via James L. Edwards III from Athletic.

Alvarado himself said he felt like the Knicks locker was at home. He is now 1-0 with the Knicks.

He even took on his latest team-bashing Bad Bunny via the New York Post’s Stefan Bondi.

“Hell yes. I can’t wait, you know. It’s a big opportunity for Puerto Ricans to expand. Especially me, being Boricua. But it’s a big one,” Alvarado said. “For him to do what he did for us when he did the show (in Puerto Rico), it was great. I went to the show, it was the best show I’ve ever been in. And he just does a great job and I’m glad he’s able to show it at the highest level.”

We can say that he will play with the Knicks on Sunday.
