Celtics announcer gives crazy reasons for New York’s win
In the race for the holders in the standings of the Eastern Conference, v The New York Knicks had a big away win111-89, against Boston Celtics. With the win, the Knicks and Celtics are tied with a 34-19 record, with the Knicks currently holding the No. 2 seed. But after the game, one of the Celtics’ announcers on the broadcast sounded like him had some sour grapes in the midst of losing the team.

I was driving today and I was amazed at the number of New York license plates I saw on the Pike,” the talk show host said. “They’re going to the Super Bowl so all the Patriots fans wanted to sell their tickets today, so they just burst into The Garden. It felt like you’re not wearing a Drake May jersey, you’re wearing a Brunson jersey.”
Now for the first point, the Knicks had to play at the same early time and had no problems, so that doesn’t take much credit. And another point, if a team can’t win in their arena because they can’t block out the noise, then it doesn’t bode well for their playoff chances.
In the Knicks’ victory, Jalen Branson led the way with 31 points. Josh Hart added 19 points, Mikal Bridges finished with 14, Karl-Anthony Towns 11, and rookie Mohamed Diawara 10 points. Jose Alvarado made his Knicks debut after the trade deadline and finished with 12 points.
