Barack Obama sends an epic congratulatory message to Seattle
The Seattle Seahawks are on top of the world after a 29-13 win over the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl LKS and congratulations are coming from the highest places. Among the chorus of praise, the former president Barack Obama took to social media to present flowers to the new champions, pointing out amazing stories which defined this championship.
“Congratulations to the Super Bowl Champion @Seahawks!” Obama announced on Ks. “This defense was special. MVP Kenneth Walker was dominant. And Sam Darnold gave us one of the best comeback stories in a long time. Enjoy the celebration.”
The “special” defense Obama referred to was just that on Sunday. Mike McDonald’s unit stifled the Patriotsracking up seven sacks and two interceptions. They held New England scoreless throughout the first half, setting the tone for a dominant night at Levi’s Stadium.
In the offensive, the former president hit the nail on the head regarding Kenneth Walker III. The star running back was an absolute workhorse, carrying the ball 27 times for 135 yards and adding 26 receiving yards. His ability to put up yards and keep the clock running earned him the Super Bowl MVP trophy, cementing his status as the driving force behind the Seattle Seahawks offense.
