LeBron James rattles the rim with a monster dunk against the Thunder

This guy named LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is pretty good at basketball.

The Lakers hosted the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Cripto.com Arena on Monday, looking for their fourth straight win.

It was a hard-fought first half, and James woke everyone up with a thunderous jam on the fast break. He zoomed past Cason Wallace before heading up for aerial climax. Chet Holmgren could only watch as the 41-year-old forward skied past him.

James was rampaging around the rim the past few days, casting him like he’s not the oldest player in the NBA.

Many speculated when the four-time MVP would hang up his jersey. But it looks like it can play until the next administration. While James has hinted that retirement is on the horizon, his performance on the hardwood suggests otherwise.

The Lakers missed the trade deadline, adding only Luke Kennard after trading Gabe Vincent and a second-round pick to the Atlanta Hawks. The front office decided to prioritize continuity, and general manager Rob Pelinka admitted it was difficult to jump on available players. With James, Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves leading the core, the Purple and Gold didn’t have to make a risky move.

As of this writing, the Lakers are still locked in a tight battle with the Thunder in the fourth quarter.

James has 18 points, four rebounds and seven assists. Doncic fell again due to hamstring problems.
