Guerschon Iabusele prefers term to guaranteed money

“The decision was pretty quick and easy. To get a second chance in the NBA and come back here, I already had to take a risk. So I’d say it’s nothing new for me… I was thinking about (changing the contract) and I thought it was the best thing.” he explains.
As this “player option” slowed down interested teams, Gershon Yabusele bet on the fact that he would get these millions back if he could prove himself at the end of the season. Playing, then.
“Passion goes beyond money”
“The situation in New York was special for me, because I barely played. So it was very important to join another team and try to contribute on the field. I missed the field, as well as made mistakes, learned from them and tried to improve.” he continues.
In the Bulls, in a team that has completely embarked on a reconstruction and that does not have many people in the circle, he is guaranteed to have minutes until the next “free agency”.
“You can always look at the financial aspect, but in the end the passion goes beyond money. It’s the fact that you’re on the field, the lack of sensations that being on the field provides, attack, defense.
