Brandon Miller wasn’t in the mood to talk about the Pistons’ ‘fun’ fight

The The Charlotte Hornets and Detroit Pistons have made waves on Monday. The teams got involved in a nasty brawl that spread all over the basketball floor. Hornet star Brandon Miller was let’s move on quickly from talking about it with the press after the game.
“How was it? It was fun. Next question,” Miller told reporters after the game.
The Pistons ended up winning 110-104. Things heated up when Pistons star Jalen Duren got involved in a tough contact situation with Hornets big man Moussa Diabat. It happened in the third quarter. Duren was fouled, and the two soon faced each other.
Things quickly escalated. The pushing started and soon other players got involved. It took several people to calm down the fight.
A total of four players were ejected from the game. Diabate and Duren, as well as two other players, were sent off. It was a tough situation, and later in the game, Hornets head coach Charles Lee he was also kicked out.
“Emotions were running high,” Duren told The Associated Press. “At the end of the day, we would have liked to keep the basketball, but things happen. Everyone just played hard.”
The loss ended Charlotte’s nine-game winning streak.
The Pistons were able to beat the Hornets despite the brawl
Tempers were definitely high until the end of the game, after that fight. Pistons coach JB Bickerstaff reflected on the situation after the game.
“Our guys deal with a lot, but they’re not the ones who initiated, they’re not the ones who crossed the line tonight,” Bickerstaff said. “It was clear, through the frustration, because of what JD (Duren) was doing, that they crossed the line. I hate that it got as ugly as it did.
“It’s not something you ever want to see, but if a guy hits you, you have a responsibility to protect yourself. That’s what happened tonight. If you go back and watch the film, they’re the ones who initiated the crossing, and our guy had to defend himself.”
The The Hornets are now 25-29 on the season after a loss.
