LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves against the Spurs

On Tuesday evening, Los Angeles Lakers will hit the floor at home for a big game against the San Antonio Spurs. The Lakers want to come back after lost a tough one to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night, also at home.
Unfortunately, the team got a rough injury update on several of their key players before the match against Spurs.
“The Lakers say.” LeBron James, Austin Reavesand Luka Dončić everyone will miss tonight’s game against the Spurs,” reported NBA insider Brett Siegel of ClutchPoint on X, formerly Twitter.
This is also bad news for James’ quest for some accolades at the end of the season later this year.
“This will be LeBron’s 18th absence of the season. He is no longer eligible for end-of-season honors and awards. LeBron James’ streak of 21 consecutive years being named an All-NBA performer has ended,” Siegel pointed out.
The Lakers will be up against a Spurs team that has had its number so far this season, and has a mostly clean injury report heading into the matchup.
Doncic is still on the mend, having now missed back-to-back games with injury, while Reaves recently returned from his own illness, and the team was understandably cautious about playing James in back-to-back games this year at age 41.
Either way, the Lakers and Spurs will tip off on Tuesday at 10:30 PM ET from Cripto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The game will be broadcast by NBA TV.
