Zach Love goes to “depressingly bad” Sacramento

It’s hard for Sacramento Kings to feel good these days after dropping 13 straight games after losing to the New Orleans Pelicans120-94, on Monday.
The Kings have a league-worst record at 12-43. At this point, unless they go on a miraculous run after the midseason break, they’re bound to end up in the lottery again.
Interviewed by Zach Lowe from The Ringer alleged tanking from several teams. He noted, however, that the Kings don’t seem to be doing it on purpose.
“You have Sacramento, accidentally bad. Just organically, hopelessly, depressingly bad. The most unwatched team in basketball,” Lowe said on his show.
Few gave the Kings a chance this season due to the questionable composition of their roster. Many thought so they would send either DeMar DeRozanZach LaVine, or Domantas Sabonis at the trade deadline. But they ended up moving Dennis Schroder and Keon Ellis in a three-team deal to acquire De’Andre Hunter.
Lowe, however, added that if there is a bright spot for the Kings, it is Dylan Cardwell.
“God bless Dylan Cardwell. I’m a huge fan of Dylan Cardwell, I’d wear a Dylan Cardwell jersey now if they made one,” Lowe said.
The rookie center is averaging 5.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 21.0 minutes per outing.
Remember the Kings’ 2022-2023 season-inspired “Light the Beam” series? Yes, that seems like eons ago now.
Sacramento has only been to the playoffs once in the past 19 years, highlighting the team’s mediocrity.
The Kings will face the Utah Jazz on Wednesday.
