Joel Embiid’s playing status against the Knicks

Given his question mark on injury report, it is currently in doubt whether joel embiid will be able to compete on wednesday night against the knicks. Embiid has been in and out of the lineup all year as the team tries to address his chronic knee issues, but his stats and overall production have started to pick up in the last month he’s been able to play.

Embiid is joined on the injury report by guard Quentin Grimes, who is also questionable due to illness, and running back Dominique Barlow, who is questionable for the same reason. Paul George will remain out of the lineup as he serves a 25-game suspension.

Meanwhile, the Knicks have yet to submit an injury report for the second night of back-to-back games after losing to the Indiana Pacers at home on Tuesday night.

The 76ers have enjoyed significant success against the Knicks so far this season, winning two games at Madison Square Garden, and rookie VJ Edgecomb appears to have saved some of his best basketball for New York.

The 76ers will certainly be hoping Embiid can go Wednesday night, especially considering the team will have a week off after this game due to the All-Star break.

Either way, the 76ers and Knicks are scheduled to tip off at 7:30 PM ET.
