Steven Vogt drops Jose Ramirez’s “unbelievable” shot after overtime

As it is The guards are getting ready for spring practice around the corner, the manager Stephen Vogt will share his thoughts on Ramirez’s contract extension.

There’s no denying that Ramirez has long been the face of Cleveland’s baseball team and will continue with his $175 million extension. According to Joey Mistretta of ClutchPoints, Vogt would say the news is with Ramirez “unbelievable.”

“The city of Cleveland loves Jose and Jose loves Cleveland,” Vogt said. “He wants to be in Cleveland. He wants to be here with his teammates. He wants to win in Cleveland. We’re just very grateful.”

If there’s one aspect Vogt mentioned for sure, it’s that Ramirez loves Cleveland. who echoed the same feelings by the star himself when talking about overtime.

“I want to point out that this is an organization that gave me an opportunity in professional baseball,” Ramirez said through an interpreter, according to Mistreta. “I know there’s a lot of discussion about the nature of this deal, why this deal happened, but for me it’s important to be here. This is where my family is and where I wanted to be.”

When Ramirez was explaining the extension of his contract with the Guardianshe would go so far as to say he wanted to finish his baseball career with the franchise.

“Most importantly, where I’m looking forward to finishing my career. So, the same way the team gave me that opportunity … That’s why I decided to finish my career here in Cleveland,” Ramirez said.

“Especially for the community that welcomed me here. For me, staying here, the ultimate goal will remain the same, which is the World Series,” Ramirez continued.

Ramirez will enter his 14th season with Cleveland. Last season he posted a .283 batting average with 30 home runs and 85 RBI.
