Giannis hilariously roasts Shams Charania during the All-Star Game

A small quarrel arose between them Milwaukee Bucks star ESPN’s Giannis Antetokounmpo and Shams Charania. Antetokounmpo’s name has been swirling in the rumor mill as a potential trade candidate, which Charania has consistently reported on. Well, it seems that the star forward hit back with his comment on NBA Insider before the All-Star Game began.
The 31-year-old phenom coaches one of the teams in the All-Star Game of Fame. Before tip-off, he was asked about Charania’s skills as a basketball player, since Charania is participating in the game. However, Giannis Antetokounmpo is not impressed with Charania, as he openly stated he is not good at basketball.
“You know why it’s not fair? Because I have Shams on my team. He can’t play the hoop,” Antetokounmpo said. “But everyone else can jump.”
“He can’t hoop.” 😂

Since the trade deadline, the Milwaukee franchise has been relentless in trolling Shams Charania. During a press conference with media representatives, Bucks head coach Doc Rivers let it all be known Giannis Antetokounmpo was trying to trade Charania to another Celebrity All-Star team. It was the organization’s way of “igniting trade rumors” about the popular NBA Insider.
All in all, it looks to be a nice break for Antetokounmpo and the Bucks. That gives the nine-time All-Star extra time to nurse his calf injury and potentially return shortly after the All-Star break. He will not play in any event, including the All-Star Game. He was voted to be the starter, but was replaced by San Antonio Spurs point guard De’Aaron Fox.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has played 30 games so far this season. In those contests, the Bucks star is averaging 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game. He is also shooting 64.5% from the floor (career high), and 39.5% from beyond the three-point line (career high).
