Giannis Antetokounmpo’s “Winning” Message After the Hall of Fame Game

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpowith his glasses and serious facade, he looked as if he had just led his team to another championship when he was interviewed at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Friday.
Antetokounmpo coached Team Giannis to victory in the All-Star Game of Fame65-58, against Team Anthony. It was a competitive contest, and the result was not decided until the last leg.
While Antetokounmpo was definitely having fun on the sideline, including subtly roasts San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyamaalso turned on his competitive button, as Team Giannis had to rally in the fourth quarter.
The two-time MVP wasn’t kidding about his the desire to win.
“I just enjoy winning,” Antetokounmpo said.
“But it was difficult, making substitutions, not everyone will play, but I think everyone did a good job, they just played hard and played to win.”

It was a family affair for the former Finals MVP, as he worked out alongside his brothers, Thanasis Antetokounmpo and Alec Antetokounmpo, who are also with the Bucks.
MLB star Mookie Betts was also part of the coaching staff.
Roma Flynn was named the All-Star Game MVP for the second year in a row, scoring 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting, including three 3-pointers.
Coaching in the annual affair was a much-needed break for the 31-year-old from all the noise and hoopla surrounding him at the trade deadline. for now, Antetokounmpo will remain in Milwaukeewhich he often advertised as his home.
His post-victory message should give fans a sense of relief despite the Bucks’ woeful season.
Antetokounmpo is out indefinitely with a calf strain.
