In his 23rd season, James continues to play at an elite level, averaging 22.0 points on 50.2% shooting, 7.1 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game. It’s hard to imagine LeBron opting out at the end of this season, at least one more season would see the 24th season in 2026-27, when James will be 42 years old.
Lakers All-Star Luka Doncic has a long way to go before he starts thinking about calling it a career. Maybe a conversation he’ll entertain himself with about a decade from now.
