Norman Powell ‘never happy’ with inconsistent season



With Miami Heat star Norman Powell earned All-Star honors for his first standout season with the franchise, there’s no denying the level of disappointment with how the team as a whole has performed. As it is The heat is in the middle of the All-Star break, Powell reflects on how he feels about the season so far.

While Powell has a lot to celebrate, as being named an All-Star has been a career goal, it also boosts Miami, as the team enters the break at 29-27, which puts them in eighth place in the Eastern Conference. This is familiar territory for the Heat as the team has finished as the eighth seed in the last three seasons.

However, it doesn’t help that the team is continually dealing with injuries and players in and out of the lineup, with Powell, Pele Larsson, Andrew Wiggins, Davion Mitchell and most notably Tyler Herrosome period of time is missing. It’s Hero who has been frustrating since missing the last 15 games with a rib injury, and a total of 45 games this season.

For Powell, despite his success this season, he explains why “never satisfied”, according to The Miami Herald.

“I’m never satisfied,” Powell said. “I’m always trying to improve and trying to see how we can improve as a team. So that’s where my mind is, and there are some areas we have to clean up defensively and offensively.”

The fan base is clamoring to see what the trio is all about Bam AdebayoPowell and Hero could be because the three have only played in eight games combined. Powell was the leading scorer, which was a huge opportunity for him, as he was the “focal point”.

Either way, Powell et al are looking to turn Miami around as the first game of the break is next Friday against the Atlanta Hawks.
