North Carolina football player Bill Belichick makes a record transfer to KB



The The North Carolina football program is trying to rebound from a frustrating 2025 season, under a head coach Bill Belichick. Belichick and his Tar Heels are taking a highly touted quarterback transfer. Quarterback Taron Dickens commits to Tar Heels, per On3.

Dickens previously played at Western Carolina where he had an exceptional season this past year.

“He threw for 3,508 yards with 38 touchdown passes and just two interceptions last season,” CBS Sports reporter Matt Zenitz reported for X, formerly Twitter.

Dickens also posted an NCAA record during the 2025 campaign.

“Dickens broke the NCAA record for most consecutive touchdowns in 2025, catching his first 46 against Wofford,” On3’s Pete Nakos reported on Ks.
