San Antonio signs Mason Plumlee on a 10-day contract
Even though the NBA is still on the All-Star break, that hasn’t stopped it San Antonio Spurs from introducing behind-the-scenes work, with Brian Wright, Gregg Popovich and company signing the veteran center Mason Plumlee on a 10-day contract to fill out their roster.
Breaking the news on social media, ESPN’s Shams Charania broke down the signing, noting that after 12 seasons in the NBA, Plumlee is headed to San Antonio to have a happy 13th.
“Free agent center Mason Plumlee signs 10-day contract with San Antonio Spurs, Priority Sports’ Mark Bartelstein tells ESPN,” wrote Charania. Plumlee began his 13th NBA season in Charlotte and now joins the Spurs for the second half.
