Rick Carlisle will not change management after "tanking" penalty

In addition to the festivities of the All-Star game, “tanking” has returned to the fore in recent days. With the regular season on hiatus, discussions revolved around this topic, between the comments d’Adam Silverof JB Bickerstaff or those of Mark Cuban. The comments from both sides come after the Jazz ($500,000) and Pacers ($100,000 greenbacks) were fined for “tanking.”

On the Indiana side, Pascal Siakam did not understand this decisionwhile he is flawless and gives his all every time he is on the floor, while his team has been sinking since the start of the season.

Rick Carlisle also commented on this punishment, but very cryptically. “I have no idea”responds the coach to the interpretation of this sanction. “And without comment.”

And what’s next? Because, remember, the team was penalized for resting several starters, including Pascal Siakam, on Feb. 3 against the Jazz. Each time the Cameroonian missed a match, it was the second night of consecutive games. Will he change tactics to avoid a new, more severe punishment?
