New York fans will love Jeremy Sochan’s new look
With Jeremy Sochan chooses to join the New York Knicks after being released by the San Antonio Spurs, the 22-year-old forward is already celebrating his surroundings. While the fans wait Socan’s debut for the Knicksthey can enjoy a new haircut made by the 2022 first-round pick.
One of Sochan’s most notable features is his hair color, with the team’s official account on X, formerly Twitter, posting a picture of him with New York Knicks colors on his head. The photo also had a quote that read: “I’m very excited to be here and to grow with the city and the team.”

Since Socan’s time with the Spurs this season was limited, his release could lead to a fresh start with the team, as he spoke about choosing New York at his introductory news conference on Wednesday.
“New York has always been on top,” Socan said via SNI. “I’ve had really refreshing and really good conversations with the organization, the front office and the coach. I’ve always been excited about this opportunity.”

While it is The Knicks want to make a championship push this season, Sochan hopes to contribute in any way he can, but playing time won’t just be a given. He talked about how he chose New York because of its depth and how confident he is about landing a role with the Knicks.
“One of the reasons I chose New York is because it’s a very deep roster with a lot of really talented players,” Sochan said Wednesday. “I still think I’m young, so being around players who have established themselves and done a lot in this league is a crazy opportunity for me.”
“I believe in myself and I believe that I can do well on the field,” continued Socan. “But I look at it as a bigger picture. I think I can be a part of this and grow in general.”
Either way, it remains to be seen what Socan’s role will look like as the Knicks’ season progresses this year.
