Adam Silver warns GMs about anti-tank rules coming next season

The the topic of the decline of NBA teams has continued to make the rounds in recent weeks, but it was uncertain whether the league would do anything about it. He looks like an NBA commissioner Adam Silver is involved and plans set some new rules for next season in a tie against tanks, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

“Commissioner Adam Silver informed the league’s 30 general managers Thursday that the NBA plans to change its anti-tanking rules for next season, sources tell ESPN. Stakeholders have intensified anti-tanking dialogue,” Charania wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
