Sacramento enters dismal franchise history with a loss to the Magic

On Thursday, the Orlando Magic pulled a trick up their sleeve and voila, they did it Sacramento Kings even worse.
Magic broke the kings, 131-94at Golden 1 Center, setting a team record with 27 3-pointers.
Sacramento also set a team record, but an unwelcome one, as it suffered its own 15th consecutive defeat. This has been just a nightmare season for the Kings, who will end up in the lottery again.
The Kings broke the franchise record 14-game losing streak set by the Cincinnati Royals in 1959-1960 and 1971-1972.

Sacramento played without Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine, who are out for the season with torn meniscus and fractured hand.
The Kings are a league-worst 12-45, including 9-20 at home. Their last win was against the Houston Rockets on January 12th. NBA analyst Zach Lowe recently called the Kings “depressingly bad.”
Maxime Rayno had 17 points, 14 rebounds and four assists against Orlando, while Prešus Achiuva added 14 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and two blocks.
Many expected the Kings to make big moves at the trade deadline including Sabonis, LaVine and DeMar DeRozan. In the end, they were only able to deliver Dennis Schroeder and Keon Ellis in exchange for De’Andre Hunter.
After an inspired run to the 2022-2023 playoffs, the Kings are back as the laughing stock of the NBA. Their series of questionable moves, especially in building a balanced lineup, has hampered the team’s success and there seems to be no solution in sight.
The Kings can end their embarrassing skid against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.
