New York fan Ben Stiller admits Cade Cunningham ‘broke our asses’



Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham spent the night at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, he was on fire New York Knicks for a record 42 points.

With Cunningham scoring at willThe Pistons beat the Knicks 126-111 for their fourth straight win.

The two-time All-Star shot 17 of 34 from the field, including 5 of 11 from long range. He added eight rebounds, 13 assists and two blocks as he continues to show that he should be considered the face of the NBA.

Actor Ben Stiller, a longtime Knicks fan, acknowledged Cunningham stellar performance.

“Cade broke us. We need to be better,” Stiller wrote on X.

The 60-year-old star of “Zoolander” and “There’s Something About Mary” is regularly spotted on the field at Madison Square Garden, cheering on his beloved team.

He’s been through dismal Knicks campaigns, and while the team has found success in recent years, Steeler knows there’s always room for improvement.

Maybe he could encourage the Knicks to watch “Dodgeball: The True Story of Underdog.”

New York coach Mike Brown admitted they fell short to use their defensive strategy against the 24-year-old Cunningham, who is averaging 25.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 9.6 assists.

Like other stars, the do-it-all guard also seems to enjoy playing at Madison Square Garden, a place that knows how to appreciate good basketball, even from the opposition.

The Knicks have dropped three games against the Pistons this season.

Cunningham has become an unstoppable force in his fifth year in Detroit, carrying over momentum from his breakout campaign last season, where he was named to the All-NBA Third Team.
