Naz Reed puts Daniel Gafford on the poster in the Mavericks game

The Minnesota Timberwolves they have a way of making Target Center feel like a highlight factory, and Friday night was no exception. While the Timberwolves have been on a roll lately, sitting comfortably in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race, Naz Reid decided to secure the moment which will be ongoing until the end of the season.
With less than two minutes left in the first quarter, and Minnesota is already holding a 10-point lead Sixth man of the year took matters into his own hands.
Reed caught a pass at half court and made a fast break. Most big men would look for a trailing guard or settle for a safe layup, but Reed isn’t most big men. He executed a smooth “around-the-world” move to get past a retreating defender, gather momentum and make a run.

Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford tried to meet him at the summit, but quickly realized he was on the wrong side of things. Reid hit a thunderous poster slam dunk that sent the Minneapolis crowd into a literal frenzy. It wasn’t just a dunk; it was a statement.
Reed scored 6 points on 3-of-5 shooting, along with three rebounds and one assist. His energy off the bench sparked a big run that the Mavericks just couldn’t respond to. Minnesota shoots a collective 46% from the field, overpowering a Dallas team that has struggled to find its rhythm without rookie star Cooper Flagg.
Anthony Edwards led the Wolves with 20 points, while Rudy Gobert had 12 points and 11 rebounds. On the other side, Khris Middleton is trying to keep the Mavericks going with 12 points.
If you didn’t believe the “Naz Reid” hype before, that Gafford poster should officially convert you.
