Sheddon Sharp has a strained left calf and Caleb Love is on two-way G League assignment. Young Hansen is also sidelined while on assignment. Avdia was a breakout force in 2025-26. He averages around 25 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.8 assists while serving as the primary ball handler. His all-around production earned him the Western Conference Player of the Week honors at the beginning of January. He also posted multiple 30-point outings despite dealing with a back problem.
Portland (27-30) enters the contest looking to bounce back from a 157-103 loss to Denver. It was an NBA season record for points scored in a game. Phoenix (33-24), seventh in the West, recently defeated Orlando and has won the first two meetings in the series this season.
