Julian Champagnie is pinned by Tobias Harris in the 1st quarter



Two of the NBA’s best teams faced off on Monday as The Detroit Pistons hosted the San Antonio Spurs at Little Caesars Arena.

The Pistons are comfortably on top Eastern Conference with a 42-13 record, including 21-6 at home. The Spurs, meanwhile, are in second place in the Western Conference at 40-16, including 18-10 on the road.

It was an uphill battle from the start. In the last minute of the first quarter Pistons ahead Tobias Harris he made sure to remind everyone not to mess around in the Motor City.

Harris dusted Dylan Harper’s defense on the break to go up by a a vicious stroke over Julian Champagne, whipping the bench and crowd into pandemonium.

No one, probably not even Harris himself, expected him to throw it.

At 33, Harris has lost some of his athleticism, but has shown that his fearlessness remains intact.

Fans must have loved his dunk on the poster.

Harris was a a key part in the Pistons’ resurgence since joining in 2024. It’s his second run in Detroit. He provided veteran leadership and a steady presence to help develop the team’s young core.

At the time of writing, the Pistons trailed the Spurs by just two points at halftime, 57-55.
