Jaylen Brown being listed as questionable brings some uncertainty to a Celtics team that has relied heavily on his elite two-way production all season. The All-Star wing averaged a career-high 29.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game.

Two-way guard Max Shulga is unavailable due to a G League assignment, while rookie big man Amari Williams is listed as questionable while on assignment. Regardless, the Celtics have won eight of their last nine games and are 37–19.

Phoenix scored just 77 points in their last loss against Portland, their lowest total since 2017. Grayson Allen is questionable with knee and ankle injuries, while key scorers Devin Booker (hip strain) and Dillon Brooks (fractured left hand) are out, giving up over 40 combined points per game.

Jordan Goodwin is out with a calf strain, Haywood Highsmith is out with a knee injury, and Cole Anthony is unavailable while out with the team. Boston will be the clear favorites against a depleted Suns lineup, regardless of whether or not Brown suits up, which should be a game-time decision.
