Shaedon Sharpe is suffering from an injury, the rest of the season in doubt

The Portland Trail Blazers they have played the last six games without a service point guard Shaedon Sharpeand it seems likely that he will be out for more – possibly missing the rest of the 2025-26 NBA season with a lower-body injury.
The Blazers provided an update to the former 22-year-old Sharp on Tuesday, via a social media post on X, formerly Twitter.
“Trail Blazers guard Sheddon Sharpe continues to receive treatment related to his left calf strain. Subsequent imaging revealed a left fibula stress reaction. Sharpe will be reevaluated in approximately four to six weeks to allow for adequate healing before beginning a progressive return to full basketball activity,” the update said.
Given the timeline, there’s a real possibility Sharpe won’t suit up for another game this season for Portland. The Trail Blazers will have played 15 games in the four weeks since Sharpe’s latest injury update and seven more in Week 6 of the timeline. Simply put, the outlook for Sharp this season isn’t great as the Trail Blazers look to continue to contend for a spot in the NBA playoffs.
Sharp last saw action in a Feb. 6 game against the Memphis Grizzlies at the Moda Center in Portland, where he apparently sustained an injury. He left that contest in the second quarter and did not return.
The injury is a big blow for the Trail Blazers, as Sharp is one of the team’s most important players. He is second on the team in scoring this season averaging 21.4 points per game, along with 4.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game while shooting 45.6 percent from the floor and 34.0 percent from behind the arc.
The update on Sharpe, who was selected seventh overall by the Trail Blazers in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft, further adds to Portland’s injury headaches, as he is also currently without NBA All-Star Danny Avdia due to a back injury.
That means the Trail Blazers will be without their top two scorers when they square off with the Minnesota Timberwolves at home on Tuesday night.
