CM Punk questions Tom Brady’s ‘cute’ dig

A few weeks ago, during Super Bowl 60, Logan Paul and Tom Brady got into a heated argument following their differing opinions on the skill level and athleticism of a WWE superstar and an NFL athlete. Doc Paul boasted about his wrestling accomplishmentsBrady took a dig at VVE, calling the sport “sweet.”

However, this did not go down well with the promotion as several wrestlers acted in defense and spoke in support of the promotion, including Tyler Breeze, Oba Femi and Paul Heyman, among others. While Punk previously addressed the situation, he opened up once more and asked Brady’s comments on ESPN’s Unsportsmanlike.

“What’s wrong with sweet? Why is everyone so upset? I don’t know why everyone has this attitude about it. Sweet is good, right?” Punk said. “There are people who watch the NFL for men in tights. Cute is good.”

The question has begun after Paul called himself athletically on par with the NFL’s Saquon Barkley. However, Brady took issue with this statement and decided to call out the former US champion for comparison. Instead, Paul chose to show off his moonsault on top of the springboard, calling it something Barkley could never do.

Liv Morgan also calls out Tom Brady’s “sweet” comments

Speaking recently on Going Ringside, Liv Morgan addressed Brady’s statements and claimed that people have a lot of misconceptions about VVE. Without throwing shade at any other sport, Morgan made her comments.

“No disrespect to any sport out there, but I feel like you can take a WWE star and maybe put them on a football field, and they’re going to make it. We’re going to do it,” Morgan said. “But can you take a football star and put them in a WWE ring, and can they do everything we do? I don’t know. I don’t know about that.”
