What LeBron James, Luka Doncic said about the failure of the Finals

Los Angeles The Lakers clashed with the Orlando Magicand they had a chance to win the game with seconds remaining. The ball is bounced in Luka Dončićand it looked like he had a wide-open shot; the only thing that was probably further than he liked at the time.

Doncic then came in, but picked up his dribble and took it into no man’s land. He tried to find a passage, and LeBron James he was the closest person to him. By then, the clock was close to zero, and James had to make a turnaround three-pointer, which failed, and the Lakers left with a loss.

After the game, James was asked about the final play and what did he see.

“I’m not sure,” James said. “Obviously you’ll have to ask Luka what he saw. I thought he had a good look and it looked like he lost his balance and had no rhythm with the ball.”

Doncic was also asked about the play, who mentioned that he had no communication with James afterwards. He explained what happened in those final seconds.

“I mean, I just saw him open and I didn’t want to lose the ball. We didn’t have a timeout. … (But) I shouldn’t have picked up the ball. I should have attacked. … That’s on me,” Doncic said.

In those moments, everyone knows it Doncic will probably deliver the last blow. It is surprising that he passed the ball in that situation, but he picked up the dribble and had nowhere to go. James is one of the few who should get the ball in the last seconds, so Doncic did it well, there just wasn’t enough time on the clock.
