Cade Cunningham leaves the kids in a frenzy after beating the Thunder
The city of Detroit hasn’t known this much basketball-wise hope since the mid-2000s. But thanks the emergence of Cade Cunningham as one of the best players in the league, the Pistons blossomed into one of the best teams in the NBA. They are a real nuisance to play with because of their relentless defense and relentless physicality, which led them to a 124-116 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
While it is The Thunder were missing several key playersincluding Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, and Jalen Williams, a win over the reigning champions is nothing to scoff at. OKC was very competitive no matter who was on the court for them, and the Pistons did well not to let their guard down in what could have been a trap game.
The fans at Little Caesars Arena knew how much it meant to the Pistons to take down the Thunder. After the game, they were so excited and so expressed their affection for their star in Cunningham, as fans gushed over him as he signed a few autographs.
“We love you! Oh my God!” several fans could be heard screaming at the Pistons star.

Clips remain favorites in the East

The Pistons are a bit underrated by a few fans considering they are still unproven on the big stage. They made the playoffs last year and lost in six games to the New York Knicks, but making a deep playoff run will be a different animal that the team has yet to experience.
But their play throughout the season should convince many that they are a legitimate contending team. They carry themselves with so much swagger and their best player is a bonafide superstar who turns up in big moments.
