Cade Cunningham approves of LeBron James in the win against the Thunder
The Detroit Pistons won the long-awaited battle between the two best NBA teams on Wednesday, as they beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 124-116at Little Caesars Arena.
Cade Cunningham has been great for the Pistonswhich improved to 43-14, including 23-7 at home. He scored 29 points on 11-of-16 shooting, four rebounds, 13 assists, three steals and three blocks. However, he had eight turnovers.
Still, his all-around effort was enough to lead Detroit to victory. He has now recorded three blocks in each of their last three games. When asked about that, Cunningham gave a nod yes LeBron James Los Angeles Lakers.
“I’ve always enjoyed running things and getting blocks. I watched a lot of LeBron growing up, so I think I’ve always been pretty good,” the two-time All-Star said.
“You know, playing a little hoop and stuff, so that’s always been a part of my game, and it’s finally coming to the NBA.

Of course, James is known for his bounce, and he should be thrilled to learn that Cunningham is inspired by his trademark.
The 24-year-old Cunningham is averaging a career-high 0.9 blocks this season to go with 25.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 1.5 steals. He’s really become a well-rounded player over the last few years, knowing he has to step up to help the Pistons climb out of the basement.
Cunningham, who was recently asked about his aurahas often acknowledged his responsibilities as Detroit’s main guy, and contributing more on defense is not beneath him.
