Oba Femi promises a revolutionary update to 2K26

After the hugely successful WWE 2K25, this year, 2K returns with another sequel to the wrestling game, WWE 2K26. Possibly which boasts one of the largest rosters in the game, this year’s edition features Oba Femi, similar to last year’s.
However, the appearance of the former WWE NXT Champion in the game upset many fans. With an outdated model and appearance, Femi’s appearance, clothing and entry in this year’s edition look very strikingly similar to the 2K25 version.
Addressing fans’ concerns and disappointment over his in-game model, Femi recently shared a big positive update for fans as they speak in a non-competition podcast.
“Here’s the thing – there’s a version of Oba Femi when I first started, when they did the initial motion capture for it, I was walking like that and I had my hair up. So that’s the version of Oba Femi,” he said. “Don’t worry, updates are coming. Updates are definitely coming. Fans, you will get the original prop with the hair down – I promise.”
WWE is known for releasing several updates throughout the year, often adding new Superstars as well as updating existing ones. While last year 2K added Alistair Black to the roster following his return to WWE, in WWE 2K23, fans witnessed the addition of Michin/Mia Iim and Candice LeRae to the game after its launch.
Most recently, WWE legend Kelly Kelly expressed her frustrations by missing a place in the 2K26 roster. While several other superstars like her are missing from the roster, VVE this year has launched Ringside Passwhere fans will be able to unlock and access more new Superstars by completing challenges and earning points.
