Victor Vembanyama reacts to the alien fan costume, the response of the fans at the road games
The San Antonio Spurs have passionate and dedicated fans at home, but the franchise continues to receive a huge amount of love and support for its games on the road thanks in large part to the large figure that is Victor Vembanyama.
Since being drafted, Wembanyama has drawn the biggest and loudest fans to every arena he visits, and his latest visit to Toronto, Canada was no different.
A fan dressed as a real green alien in a Victor Wembanyama jersey and shorts was seen watching his favorite player’s warm-up from the stands.

After the game, Wembanyama was asked about the fans and the outpouring of support he has received away from home this season.
“Do I get used to it?” Vembanyama repeated before thinking about his answer. “I don’t know if I will, but I’m not used to it yet. I say that because it’s always a pleasure for me. I think obviously the support at home is unconditional, but on the road in some arenas like this one, I hear a lot of French people and even just French-speaking Canadians cheering. I say I’m not always used to it because it’s a lot of pressure, it’s always more pressure. I’m not going to lie, because it helps me, it makes me feel a little bit at home everywhere, so I try to do that develop and give a part of that love.”
The Spurs beat the Raptors 110-107 on Wednesday night in Toronto, and Victor Vembanyama recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and five blocked shots.
The Spurs’ win improved their record to 42-16, just two games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder for the top seed in the Western Conference.
