Denver target Khris Middleton will finish the season in Dallas
On the contrary his now former teammate Tyus Jones, Chris Middleton won’t go away dallas. indeed, Marc Stein reveals that the three-time All-Star will finish the season in Texas, despite rumors of a “buyout” and that this week, March 1, is the deadline for the player to be released while remaining eligible to play in the playoffs with another team.
THE Mavericks gave him control over his future and the 2021 champion therefore decided to stay there, to play with the big brothers in the locker room. Free next June, he might be able to get a new contract from the Texas franchise…
But Khris Middleton (10.9 points, 4 rebounds and 3.2 assists) was also able to negotiate a mutual termination of his contract with Dallas, in order to join a more ambitious team. The Nuggets were interested in his services, except in the end nothing came of it.
