Josh Giddy ties up Scottie Pippen as Chicago slides

finally, Josh Giddei and the Chicago Bulls finished theirs agonizing 11-game losing streak.
Behind Giddy’s incredible all-around performance Sunday against the visiting Milwaukee Bucks at the United Center in Chicago, the Bulls cruised to a 120-97 victory — their first win since meeting the Miami Heat on the road on Feb. 1.
Giddy finished with 20 points on 7-for-14 shooting from the field, along with 14 rebounds and 10 assists in 32 minutes of action. With that stat line, 23-year-old Giddei tied the franchise legend on the all-time list.
“In today’s win, Josh Giddy (20p, 14sk, 10a) recorded his 15th career triple-double in the regular season with the Bulls, tied Scottie Pippen for the second-most in franchise history,” the NBA announced via a social media post on X, formerly Twitter.
Gidi still has a long way to go to equal and break the record, which, however, is held by Michael Jordan. “His Airness” had a total of 28 triple-doubles during his unforgettable time with the Bulls.
Either way, it’s a great night for Giddy and the Bulls, who can still push for at least a spot in the Play-in tournament picture in the Eastern Conference despite their recent debilitating loss. The Bulls, who improved to 25-36, are 12th in the East and five games out of last place in the conference.
Next up for Chicago is a tough challenge, which the Bulls will face Giddei’s former team and the reigning NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder at home on Tuesday.
