Giannis Antetokounmpo finally returns from a calf injury against Celtic

Milwaukee Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpowho has not played for more than five weeks, will be the return from a calf injury Monday night against the Boston Celtics, as first reported by ESPN. He will face limited minutes in his first game in more than a month.

Antetokounmpo has not played since Jan. 23, when the Bucks lost to the Denver Nuggets 102-100. Early in this game, Giannis suffered a troubling right calf strainwhich kept him sidelined during the All-Star break and trade deadline event, where the two-time MVP was mentioned in trade talks around the league.

Without Giannis on the floor, the Bucks have actually had quite a bit of success, winning eight of their last 15 games to move within three games of the Charlotte Hornets for the No. 10 seed in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Bucks are still trying to make the playoffs this season, and Giannis has made it clear to the organization that he has no intention of giving up until the end of the year.

With Antetokounmpo returning to the lineup Monday night against Boston, the Bucks will look to keep their momentum going in a positive direction.

This is a developing story that will be updated soon.
