The Air Jordan 8 ‘Knicks’ was rumored to drop in December 2026

The Nike Air Jordan Retro Release Calendar continues to round out throughout 2026, as fans have many highlighted releases to look forward to in the coming months. Doc Jordan Brand and Nike are bringing back classic retro silhouettes in colorways at a rapid pace, and we’ve also seen plenty of new, updated looks. The Air Jordan 8 will reportedly feature a New York Knicks-inspired color, which will appear later in 2026.

The New York Knicks have always held a special place in the story of Michael Jordan and much to the dismay of Knicks fans, Jordan posted some of his most memorable performances at Madison Square Garden during the ’90s. From 1989-1993, the Bulls posted four playoff victories over the Knicks thanks in large part to Jordan’s excellence.

As a result, we’ve seen a number of Knicks blue and orange sneakers inside Air Jordan collectionpaying tribute to another great franchise that defined Jordan’s career. Reminiscent of “cavs” Air Jordan 4the latest edition of the Air Jordan 8 is expected to feature a black suede kit with Knicks accents.

Reported and mocked @zSneakerheadzthe Air Jordan 8 it is expected to come with a color code of Black/Safety Orange-Blue for a very clean color combination over what appears to be suede along a black upper. The upper will match the black sole as we see hits of orange and blue in the typical Jordan 8 design. The pull tab and chenille tongue logo should also be in blue and orange to match the midsole accents.

As of now, the Jordan 8 “Knicks” is expected to arrive on December 24th, 2026 as part of the Nike Jordan Retro Holiday Releases. This pair should retail for a standard retail tag of $220, which comes in a full family size with a custom price tag. Expect more information closer to the release date as it should be released via Nike SNKRS app and select Nike Platforms,
