Moses Moody’s multiple injuries compound his collapse against the Clippers

On Monday night, Golden State Warriors loss continued with a brutal defeat at home on by the hands of the Los Angeles Clippers. The Warriors controlled this game for most of the way, but fell apart in the fourth quarter, outscored by 15 in the final frame and lost the game 114-101.
Now things went from bad to worse some hard news on the shooting guard injury front Moses Moody.
“Moses Moody sprained his right wrist and hurt his shoulder, according to Steve Kerr,” NBC Sports Bay Area’s Dalton Johnson reported on X, formerly Twitter. “The Warriors will know more about his status tomorrow.”
It’s a tough break for a Warriors team that was already coming apart at the seams from an injury perspective, with Stephen Curry he missed most of last month with a knee injury, and Jimmy Butler has already been ruled out for the year with a torn ACL.
Moody has enjoyed a fine season for the Warriors, hovering around 40 percent from beyond the arc throughout the campaign, and will certainly be hoping these injuries aren’t too severe.
Currently, the Warriors are 31-30 on the season, and would be in the Western Conference playoffs for the third straight year if the regular season ended today.
Making matters even more frustrating for Golden State is that recent trade acquisition Kristaps Porzingis, who the team brought in from the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Jonathan Cummings, has played just one game for the team while dealing with an illness.
Meanwhile, Kuminga has had a great start to his tenure in Atlanta.
Either way, the Warriors are next to take the floor on Thursday night when they hit the road against the Houston Rockets.
