A Knicks commentator got Treo Young in the middle of a disastrous game
On Saturday night, The Atlanta Hawks suffered their sixth straight loss with a home loss on hands of the New York Knicks in a narrow way. The Hawks showed some heart in fighting back to keep this one competitive down the stretch, but in the end they weren’t able to do enough to get the win, falling by a final score of 128-125.
It was a particularly difficult match since Trae Youngwho scored just nine points tonight and committed a costly turnover in the closing seconds when Atlanta had a chance to take the lead.
At one point in the game, Knicks commentator Alan Hahn sharp approach on Young’s effort on one particular defensive play.

Knicks fans have had a special hatred for Young ever since he eliminated them from the 2021 playoffs in five games, and fans have consistently enjoyed whenever they’ve managed to beat the Hawks in the years since.
Meanwhile, the Young era in Atlanta could be on its last legs, as the Hawks are still winless since the All-Star returned from a sprain two weeks ago and the already-wobbly defense has now completely collapsed into one of the worst units on the NBA landscape.
The struggles have led some to wonder if the Hawks might consider trading Young, especially now that Jaylen Johnson appears to have taken over as the team’s best player.
Either way, things don’t get any easier for the Hawks, as their next three games will be against the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder, Minnesota Timberwolves, and then a rematch against the Knicks next week in New York. The game against the Thunder is scheduled for Monday night at 8:00 PM ET.
