Aaliyah Martin bursts onto the scene with a ferocious poster slam over Derrick White
Alijah Martin recorded his first points, including an outstanding dunk on the poster Derrick White. during Toronto Raptors match against Boston Celtics on Friday night.
Martin is thriving through the rookie year of his NBA career after a historic collegiate career at Florida Atlantic and Florida. He played at the G-League level for the Raptors 905, enjoying strong performances as Toronto called him up for the game against Boston.
It’s safe to say that Martin’s hard work has resulted in plenty of playing time off the bench. After recording his first steal in early December, the rookie guard finally got his first points, assists, rebound and block. One of his highlights came in the final seconds of the third quarter, when he got the ball after a rebound when he went on a fast break to throw down a one-handed dunk via Boston White.
