AE 2 in Clockwork Orange mode
Adidas continues to do the heavy lifting to keep up AE 2 due in early 2026. Following the release of the “Black&Yellow” and “VDai” versions, the three-stripe brand is now launching a colorway called “ASV” into the collection.Anthony Edwards.
The upper appears mainly in orange, with metallic gray TPU stripes and finishing touches such as the player logo on the tongue or adidas on the heel, also in grey.
The AE 2 “ASV” is the tenth colorway of Wolves’ second signature boot available in France. The model can be found at Basket4Ballersat a price of 130 euros.
Our verdict on AE 2
Adidas have offered themselves one of the best catches in recent years by relying on Anthony Edwards. The three-stripe brand managed to carve out a unique identity for the first signature Ant-Man shoe and is therefore eagerly awaited for this new version.
The AE 2 is a continuation of its older sister on a technical level, with an unchanged sole, with perfect characteristics for the explosive style of Anthony Edwards, grounded, lively and demanding of its supports. The grip and bounce qualities are there, the forefoot and heel support is provided… Everything is there to keep the toes ready to scratch the floor.
Innovation in design should be left to the appreciation of each individual. More classic, but just as effective for some, less risky and therefore necessarily less surprising for others. The general public seems to have responded positively to Adidas’ inspiration for this AE 2 at this point, with key stakeholders quick to point out its assets.
