Aio Dosunmu breaks down the backcourt form with Bones Hyland

The Minnesota Timberwolves they may not have achieved their big Giannis Antetokounmpo trade ambition, but they still managed to upgrade the roster before the trade deadline. They are BRING COMBO GUARD AIO TO DOSUNMA from the Chicago Bulls in a trade that required them to give up Rob Dillingham, Leonard Miller and four second-round picks — a nice move on the margin that gives the Timberwolves another playoff-viable player.

Dosunmu provides speed, play and spacing off the bench for the Timberwolves, and while he may not be the natural point guard the team needs to succeed Mike Conley, he still provides a pinch of ball-handling, which Minnesota needed. And he appears to have Dosunmu’s experience on the guard-heavy Bulls prepared him for life in addition to other Timberwolves guards such as Anthony Edwards and Bones Hyland.

“In Chicago, we played like that, with a lot of guards,” Dosunmu said, via Blue Wire’s Dane Moore. “You get to a certain point in your basketball career where you adjust to being able to play with anybody. I can play with Bones, with Anto, with Donte (DiVincenzo). That’s just how I was taught to play basketball, to go out and adjust to whoever is out there.”
