‘Air’ Bilal Coulibaly starts the Raptors game with a bang

Bilal Coulibaly made a huge highlight reel dunk in Washington Wizards vs. Toronto Raptors match on Friday night.

Coulibaly is going through the third season of his NBA career. He made strides as a shooter and playmaker while being active on the defensive side of the ball. This season, he is averaging 10.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.3 blocks and a steal per game.

Young winger showed his athleticism to start the game against Toronto. In just the first minute of action, Coulibaly held onto the ball as he dribbled past defenders and attacked the rim with a one-handed dunk.

Despite a solid highlight reel from Bilal Coulibaly, the Wizards couldn’t use it as momentum as they trailed the Raptors 57-47 at halftime.

Washington got off to a slow start in the first half. They scored only 20 points in the first quarter while allowing 31 points on defense. And while they were better in the second half, they only managed to reduce the deficit by one point going into halftime.

Shot selection and rebounds play a big role in the match. The Raptors lead the way in both categories, making 46% of their field goals, including 43% from three and grabbing 43 rebounds. It wasn’t the same for the Wizards, who made 37% of their total attempts, including a clip of 22% from deep, and grabbed just 15 rebounds.

Only one player scored in double figures for Washington through the first 24 minutes of the game. Tre Johnson led the way with 12 points, two rebounds, an assist and a block. He shot 4-of-5 from the field, including 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. Coulibaly was next with eight points and two steals, while CJ McCollum had eight points and two assists.

After this matchup against the Raptors, the Wizards will prepare for their next contest. They stay on the road when they face the Chicago Bulls on November 22nd at 8:00 PM ET.
