AJ Dibantsa stat sums up the takeover against Clemson

There are reasons why No.10 Freshman BIU basketball star AJ Dibanca is expected to be among the picks early in the 2026 NBA Draft. He showed everyone why again on Tuesday night as he led the Cougars to a a thrilling 67-64 victory at a neutral site during the Jimmy V Classic presented by Modelo game at Madison Square Garden in New York via the Clemson Tigers.
Sophomore guard Robert Wright III delivered the game-winning bucket at the buzzer for the Cougars, but BIU wouldn’t have been in the position to win without a big play, especially in the second half, by Dibants.
Dibanca finished the contest with 28 points to lead all scorers, while shooting 9-for-17 from the floor and 9-for-10 from the free throw line. He added nine rebounds and six assists in 34 minutes of action.
