Horford has been out of the lineup in recent games for the Warriors, last playing exactly three weeks ago in a narrow road loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Joining Horford on the injury report is Seth Curry, who is out for this game with a left glute injury.
Meanwhile, the Mavericks have a crowded injury report, with Dwight Powell and Klay Thompson both listed as probable, PJ Washington as questionable and Derek Lively II out.
Overall, the Warriors and Mavericks have had some entertaining battles in the year-plus since Thompson left the Bay Area to join the Mavericks. Sure, the Mavericks team he’s currently playing for looks a lot different than the one he originally joined in the summer of 2024, but there’s cause for optimism in Dallas due to the play of first-round draft pick Cooper Flagg, who is currently in the driver’s seat to win Rookie of the Year honors.
Either way, the Warriors and Mavericks will tip off just after 5:00 PM ET on Thursday from the Bay Area.
