Alex Saar gets a lot of support from Darko Rajaković
Alec SarrHis growth in the NBA has received praise from Darko Rajaković following Washington Wizards vs. Toronto Raptors match on Friday night.
Sarr is thriving through his second NBA campaign with the Wizards. He improved his production significantly, was more active in the scoring and rebounding departments.
Sarr showed another example of his rise during Washington’s game against Toronto. In 24 minutes of action, he finished with 15 points, three rebounds, three blocks, two assists and a steal. He shot 7-of-9 from the field, including 1-of-1 from beyond the arc.
Rajakovic reflected on Sar’s performance after the match, reports reporter Bijan Todd. The Raptors coach had high criticism of the young centerpraising him for his growth in maturity and skills on the field.
“Every time I see him, I see him maturing as a player and getting better,” Rajakovic said.

As Alex Sarr, the Wizards played against the Raptors

Darko Rajakovic was right to praise Alex Sarr, noting his tremendous growth in the NBA as the Wizards stunned the Raptors in a 138-117 victory.
Both teams traded shots throughout the game as the score was tied at 102-100 after three quarters. That was until Washington exploded with a 36-17 run in the final period to pull away with the win.
Shot selection, rebounding and scoring made the difference in this match. The Wizards dominated in all three categories, making 59% of their shots, 46 rebounds and 62 points at the line. It wasn’t the same for the Raptors as they made just 44% of their total shot attempts, grabbed 33 rebounds and scored 44 points inside the line.
Six players scored in double figures for Washington in the win, including Sarah. Keyshawn George led the way with 23 points, six rebounds, three assists and a block. He shot 9-of-13 from the field, including 3-of-5 from beyond the arc, and 2-of-3 from the free throw line. Next is CJ McCollum with 21 points and four assists, Bilal Coulibaly with 21 points and eight rebounds, Bab Carrington with 15 points and four assists, and Tre Johnson with 12 points and three assists.
Washington improved to 6-23 on the season, ranking 14th in the Eastern Conference standings. They are one game ahead of the Indiana Pacers while trailing the Brooklyn Nets by 3.5 games and the Charlotte Hornets by four games.
The Wizards will be looking forward to their next match, as it will be at home. They host the Memphis Grizzlies on December 28th at 3pm ET.
