Alperen Sengun will miss up to 14 days with an ankle injury

Alperen Sengun got a new timeline on an injury he recently suffered in one of the Houston Rockets‘ games this season.
Sengun suffered the injury in Houston’s game against the Dallas Mavericks on Jan. 3. It happened in the first minute of the game as the star big man was unable to return for the rest of the contest.
NBA insider Marc Stein had official information on Sengun from head coach Ime Udoka. He reported that the five-year center will miss about two weeks January while recovering from an ankle injury.
“Alperen Shenggun will likely be sidelined for the next 10 to 14 days, according to Rockets coach Ime Udoka, following the sprained ankle Shenggun suffered Saturday night in Dallas,” Stein wrote.
