That’s a significant improvement over the 9.2 points and 8.3 rebounds he averaged last season, which earned him All-Rookie honors.
Edei has been a major bright spot for the team, especially in terms of the way they have started the campaign. Injuries have seen key players in and out of the rotation, with Edei set to rejoin the injury report.
Memphis has an 11-13 record on the season, holding ninth place in the Western Conference standings. They are two games ahead of the Portland Trail Blazers and 2.5 games ahead of the Dallas Mavericks, while trailing the Golden State Warriors by 1.5 games and the Phoenix Suns by 2.5 games.
