An eye-opening response by Denis Schröder to Luka Dončić’s report

Reports surfaced recently from ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania that Sacramento Kings rush hour Dennis Schroder would be suspended for three games for attempting to hit a Los Angeles Lakers player after a recent game between the two teams. Later in the day on Saturday, it was reported that the player superstar Luka Dončićwho chirped with Schroder throughout the game.
Charania broke the news on multiple social media platforms, including Instagram and Shredder appeared in the commentswriting “try” next to the eye and smiley face emoji.
Here, Schroder would seem to be insinuating that he did indeed hit Doncic after the game, but at this point there is no substantiation for that claim.
Fans on social media are clamoring for someone to release any available security footage from under the tunnels at the Cripto.com Arena that may have captured the incident, but nothing has surfaced on that front at this point.
“…Schroder left the visitors’ locker room at Cripto.com Arena, spotted Doncic and tempers flared again inside the tunnel across from the home bench,” ESPN.com’s Anthony Slater reported.
Schroder was once a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, and at one point in the game, Doncic apparently told him that he “should have signed that contract,” referring to an incident in which Schroder refused to sign a lucrative offer the Lakers made him at one point, only to end up having to settle for much less money elsewhere.
While it’s unclear if that hit led to the altercation after the game, it certainly didn’t seem to help.
Either way, the Lakers and Kings will square off on Monday night in Sacramento. However, Schroder will be out of the squad for that contest as he begins serving a three-game suspension.
