Another big game for Cameron Boozer (Duke)
Since his fourth NCAA game with Duke two weeks ago, Cameron Boozer hard to hit with 35 points against Indiana State. Carlos Boozer’s son did it again this Thursday against Arkansas, in a special setting: the United Center in Chicago, where his father played for four seasons, between 2010 and 2014.
“I have many memories here”, confirms the interiorborn in july 2007 “When you get to the room, it’s huge, there are good vibes here. A special aura.”
He felt so good in the Bulls room that he collected 35 points (13/18 shooting) and 9 rebounds against John Calipari’s Razorbacks. “Boozer was monstrous. We tried a few things, to put players in front of him, to make his life miserable.”the coach indicates.
Malik Ivin, Nick Pringle and Trevon Brazile tried to slow down Cameron Boozer. But the latter imposed its power. John Calipari and his players were powerless then.
As soon as he realized he could push a defender with his shoulder and his frame, he did it all the time. says the Arkansas coach. “You can either do 12 different things or do what you know you do well. And that, over and over and over again. To do that at such a young age is pretty awesome.”
Since the start of the season, and while Duke is a perfect 8-0, Cameron Boozer is averaging 22.9 points, 9.8 rebounds and 4 assists. It is expected, for now, in Top 3 in the 2026 draft.
