Another setback for Jalen Williams and his wrist

The Thunder announced that Jalen Williams has undergone a new operation on his right wrist, operated on last July. The wing, who was an All-Star last season, had to have a screw removed that was causing irritation during the final stages of his rehab. She will be reassessed in 10 to 14 days.
The NBA champion is expected to miss at least the first 11 games of the season. The absence does not prevent OKC from shining, with a perfect start (6-0).
After averaging 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists last season, Jaylen Williams extended the “supermax” bonuses conditional on the new All-NBA selection this summer in Oklahoma City, while last year he was selected in the third best five and played at least 65 games.
